Jim Tate is the founder and Managing Partner of Green Fairways Wealth Management. He is a Certified Financial Planner® professional with over 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry. As the architect of the practice’s mission, Jim instilled the core values of building lasting relationships and guiding clients through every stage of their financial journey. He leads the team’s investment management as a Senior Financial Advisor.
Jim grew up in Venice and is a graduate of Venice High School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of South Florida. He has remained deeply engaged in the local community, serving on several boards including Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast, Epiphany Cathedral School, and Plantation Golf & Country Club. Jim and his wife, Kelley, are proud to work alongside their sons, Jake and Alex, as part of the Green Fairways team. A devoted family man, Jim is now “Pops” to four grandchildren. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and cheering on our Tampa Bay sports teams.
